Content Fragment Editor: RTE Migration & New Features
Content fragments now support check-out/check-in via the Admin UI, aligning with Touch UI functionality. Asynchronous job statuses for content fragment launches are now visible in the properties panel. The Content Fragment Editor's Rich Text Editor (RTE) has been migrated to TipTap, offering a unified technology stack with the Universal Editor, new Spectrum 2 styling, and features like find and replace.
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) beta programs offer customers early access to prerelease features and code, enabling them to provide feedback and influence future product development. An issue was resolved where audiences originating from the Adobe Target v2 destination in Adobe Experience Platform were incorrectly labeled as 'Adobe Experience Cloud' in the Audiences interface. The system now accurately displays 'Adobe Experience Platform' as the source for these audiences. This improves consistency when filtering and reviewing audience sources.
Channel activities within Orchestrated campaigns can now be categorized as 'Transactional'. This categorization automatically applies transactional channel configurations, bypassing typical business rules and opt-in requirements for specific activities. This ensures transactional communications are delivered efficiently without standard marketing constraints.
A new capability allows users to convert images into email content templates. This feature leverages AI to automatically generate structured HTML templates from visual references. This capability is now generally available, significantly reducing email design time.
Orchestrated campaigns can now be initiated via an API signal. Campaigns are configured as "Triggered by a signal" and published, then fired using an API call that can pass parameters as variables. This functionality, available April 1, 2026, applies to batch campaigns, distinct from API-triggered campaigns.
